IKEA: Made in Viet Nam

One day while visiting an IKEA store, I noticed several products with shapes and forms that evoked memories of my personal and cultural history. To my surprise, I discovered that these items were made in Vietnam. I purchased several of them and later arranged them into an installation that suggests the lingering presence of the Vietnam War—how memory can persist in the everyday, even in objects of mass production.
